Ended up coming here twice for breakfast and lunch. Great view and drinks. If the surf is high.. locals will surf right out where you are sitting. The unicorn sandwich was good and cool looking. Can make reservations.

Their loco moco, garnished with green onion, could use more rice, but other than that the beef patty is a good size, quality and most noticeably they cook it to order correctly. Other places may ask but ultimately overcook it. The brown gravy is also spiced and fancier than simple brown gravy powder. The service is fast and there is plentiful wood-accent seating close to the ocean. No waiting needed for the lunch hour.

Yes yes yes.... We have been eating at 1 place (lava java ) 3 times during our week stay because it was the only breakfast place I really loved and always had great food and service- wellllll I found another place! The waitress was so nice and the view was incredible! I got the French toast island style and wow! it was perfect! Thank you. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect brunch on the waterfront to start off our day in Kailua Kona. First, the insomniac cocktail. Wow! I love boozey coffees and this is one of the best! The macadamia was the perfect addition. It tasted almost like a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie dipped in coffee, but cold brew and poured over ice. I have to try to replicate it, it was just sooo delicious. As for the food, we both ordered the unicorn breakfast sandwich. It was much bigger then expected and cooked perfectly, The potatoes were a little under seasoned, but nice and crunchy and still a bit addictive. Parking was conveniently tucked away under the building where you'll find the restaurant in the back. It was pretty empty but also a weekday during a low tourism period. We were seated on covered deck next to the shore with a nice breeze and a beautiful view.. The atmosphere was as expected, casual and beachy. Service was excellent.

Decent spot with oceanfront deck. Not all tables have good ocean view. We sat on the deck right after sunset and amount of bugs was annoying but otherwise it was lovely. No air conditioning inside, all indoor space is open concept so something to keep in mind. Good size drinks, good service, food seemed pretty average. I went for poke which is listed as an appetizer but it's actually pretty good size bowl, and it was okay, I think it was just too much sauce overall because the plate is lined with it, the fish is tossed in it and then there is a generous drizzle on top of that. Fish and chips were pretty good though!

My cousin and I decided to try this place out since it had a great view of the sunset. We requested to be seated outside since it was a nice day! Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. She answered our questions and made sure to come back to check on us. Food & Drink: - Volcano Fries ($14): The fries were crispy and we loved the sauces that came with it. It paired well with the unagi sauce, sambal aioli, cheese, and furikake. - Pineapple Teriyaki Burger ($21): My cousin enjoyed her burger and said it was juicy and tasty. I didn't try it since it does have pineapple and I'm allergic. She also liked her fries. - Guava BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger ($22): I decided to get a burger as well since I wanted to try the guava BBQ sauce. The sauce is on the sweeter side, but it compliments the dish. I also liked that the burger was not dry and everything paired well. - Lilikoi Spritzer ($7): such a refreshing drink! I liked this drink even though I'm not a fan of fizzy drinks. However, this drink was great on a hot day. Our waitress surprised me with creme brulee for my birthday! The creme brulee was delicious! Also, we got our sunset pics and it was the most beautiful sunset ever!

Went for dinner and views were still amazing. Service was quick and so kind. They do NOT validate parking which sucks, and they close at 9pm. The pasta was sensational and a decent price. They had a rich chocolate peanut butter cheesecake topped with a light whip cream that balanced it out. The lunai margarita was amazing and pretty, while the ex was a bit spicy

Good location combined with good food choices and a view is all you need. I went here for a late breakfast, we didn't have a reservation, but it was not crowded on a week day. The Bloody Mary was perfectly paired with a Kalua Pork sandwich. My husband had the Veggie Scramble with Home-fried potatoes and wheat toast. Everything was tasty, good portions and reasonably priced. The restaurant can accommodate large groups and has an upper level for a better view of the ocean. They do not have parking, use a public lot across the street, sorry no valet or validation available. I did notice they have live entertainment on the weekends, you may want to check that out! Don't forget to tell'em that Rosemary sent ya!
